Head Metal Casting | Furniture | NOIDA

The Metal Casting Department Head will be responsible for the Metal Casting area. They will report to the Production Manager and the company director. The candidates must have a very strong knowledge of various metal casting processes included Sand Casting, Investment (Lost Wax) Casting and Ceramic Shell Casting along with experience in casting different metals including brass, bronze, aluminum and silver nickel. The role will encompass the following

1. Supervision:  Supervising the metal casting department and ensuring department employees are working at optimum speed in a safe and organized manner. Should be able to recruit new workers as required. 
2. Tracking Work Flow: Fill out order status sheets and ensure work is being done on time. 
3. Quality Control: Responsible for QC of cast metal components and furniture pieces. 
4. Managing Inventory: Tracking material requirements in the metal casting area, including consumables and filling requisition forms as required. 
5. Machinery Maintenance: Keeping track of machinery in the department and communicating with Plant Maintenance Manager to ensure machinery is in working order. 

Communication skills: Good written and basic spoken English. High organizational skills and attention to detail. 4-6 years’ experience in export of luxury furniture.
