Maintenance Manager

Job Description:

- Oversee daily maintenance operations of dyeing machines including Jet, Softflow, Winch, Jigger, HT/HP machines.
- Ensure proper running of boilers, compressors, pumps, dryers, calendaring machines, and utilities like steam, water, air, and power.
- Prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedules and minimize breakdown downtime.
- Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical spares.
- Coordinate with production team to support machine parameters and improve performance.
- Suggest modifications for efficiency, quality improvement, and energy saving.
- Maintain maintenance logs, machine history, and utility consumption records.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, pollution norms, boiler rules, and statutory inspections.
- Lead and manage a team of technicians, electricians, fitters, and helpers for breakdown and preventive tasks.
- Plan manpower for routine maintenance, inspections, and emergency repairs.
- Prepare annual maintenance budgets and control costs through proper planning.
- Ensure safety inspections, PPE usage, and coordination with statutory bodies for machine/boiler inspections.
