Manager -Procurement and Supply Chain

Position Overview            
We are seeking a dedicated purchase and supply chain management candidate to join our client team and oversee our procurement & SCM processes. Who can identify reliable suppliers and establish long-term partnerships based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. This role involves strategic planning, supplier relationship management, inventory control, and continuous improvement of supply chain processes.            

Job Responsibilities 

1. Develop and implement cost-effective purchasing. Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers/vendors of raw materials, packaging materials, and other necessary supplies for production.
2. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms and maximize cost savings.
3. Evaluate supplier performance regularly to ensure compliance with quality standards, delivery schedules, and contractual obligations.
4. Oversee inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet demand without overstocking or understocking. Manage logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and distribution. 
5. Collaborate closely with the production team to forecast demand, plan procurement schedules, and maintain optimal inventory levels.
6. Oversee the entire supply chain process from procurement to delivery and maintain an efficient inventory management system.
7. Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information.
8. Monitor market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes to anticipate potential supply chain disruptions and mitigate risks.            

Requirements  & Qualification 

• Any graduate with proven experience in similar role in Beauty and personal care or FMCG .
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to drive cost savings without compromising quality or supplier relationships.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with Ayurvedic principles and natural ingredients is a plus."            

Knowladge of raw material in Beauty and personal care or FMCG Qualification: Any Graduate
