Position Overview
A manufacturing company's inventory supervisor plays a crucial role in managing inventory, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining efficient communication between various departments. The warehouse executive is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company's store, ensuring efficient inventory management, and coordinating with different departments to meet production requirements. The role involves maintaining accurate records of stock levels, processing orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimum inventory levels to meet production demands. (RM/PM/FG)
- Conduct regular stock checks to reconcile physical stock with records. (RM/PM/FG)
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize shrinkage and ensure accuracy.
- Organize and optimize warehouse space for efficient storage and retrieval of materials.
- Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns.
- Generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and consumption patterns.
- Analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements/Qualification
- Graduation in any field preferably B.Sc
- Proven experience in store management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office applications.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
